The Wolfsville Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that Special Unit 21 is now officially in service.

This new 2026 Ram 2500, equipped with a Reading utility body, will serve as the EMS First Responder Unit. Designed to safely and efficiently carry essential equipment, Special Unit 21 will enhance response times to medical emergencies throughout the Wolfsville community.

Replacing an aging support vehicle, this new unit improves reliability, organization, and operational efficiency. The upgrade allows the department to better serve residents and visitors across its more than 40 square mile coverage area.

As part of the fleet refresh, Special Unit 21 features a new graphics scheme that distinguishes it from current units. The updated design improves visibility and provides a clean, modern appearance that reflects the professionalism of the department.

Special Unit 21 demonstrates the department’s ongoing commitment to providing dependable emergency medical services and making responsible investments in equipment that supports our volunteers and the community.

The Wolfsville Volunteer Fire Company thanks everyone who supports the department through fundraisers, donations, and community events. Community generosity enables important projects like this upgrade and helps ensure readiness when neighbors need assistance.

If you see Special Unit 21 out in the community, be sure to give us a wave! 👋
